In our busy lives we depend more and more on our cell phones. We make appointments, change appointments, talk to our children, spouses, family etc.
We run our Real Estate businesses much more efficiently because of our cell phones,
How did our moms keep track of us before cell phones? How did Real Estate Agents keep their businesses going without their cell phones?
It just amazes me to think abour doing business without my cell phone.
Are we better off? Do we work more hours because people can always get us? Would our Real Estate Business just slack off if we missed a call or if we had to wait until we got back to the office to return a call? We hate to pass up any business, take it while you can but are we letting our business run our lives?
Or are our cell phones running our lives?

It is hard to believe it is already the end of July. I think as I get older time just goes faster. I often thought when my kids grew up and moved on I would have so much time on my hands, then I started Real Estate,.
Last night we had another wicked storm here in Northern Colorado, lot’s of wind and hail damage. It was late last night and most folks were already in bed.
Some trees went through the roofs of peoples bedrooms but no one was injured, that was amazing. I was just watching the news and saw all the damage. I was so surprised. I heard the thunder, it was oh so loud, lost some sleep but was ok in the morning.
We have had such severe storms this summer it is scary to think what kind of snow we will have this winter.

I have a dear friend in Real Estate who has a son that is in boot camp. This is his first time away from home, away from family and on his own. He is a great young man and I am sure will grow much from this learning experience, I think we all wanted to grow up quickly when we were 18, then you think wow ,was I really ready for this. He has had a little trouble adjusting, but like I said he is a great young man and is hanging in there. I don’t think it would be so hard if he had been out on his own first, then away from family and friends. It is tough enough to be out on your own, let alone in boot camp. I am praying that he makes some long lasting friendships and that this experience will help him to become and even more rounded person. Travis is well liked and respected by his friends and his fathers friends so I am sure he will do fine. I am going to see if he can get to read my blog. I hope this let’s him know how proud we all are of him. Since Travis is from Fort Collins I thought you all could say a prayer for him. I am not sure they get online but he will read it when he gets home

Hope all you dads had a very relaxing day. It is a special day that we are to pamper the men who have become fathers. It is such a special day to be enjoyed. Sometimes we try to cram so much into a day it does not seem like we relaxed or enjoyed it. As I get older I am trying not to do that. It is very much a fault of mine. I would try to do so much on a special day that I started hated holidays. I was so tired after that I thought, I am glad that is over for this year. It is not how much you do on a special day, it is the quality of time you spend with the ones you love and giving thanks for the blessings you have in your life. So if you are really tired today from doing too much yesterday, think about the next special day you are going to plan. With all we have to do here in Northern Coloardo that is hard to do.

I looked for an underpass when the hail started. The first two I passed were full. I was really getting scared. The hail was big and coming down fast. I was afraid that my windshield was going to break.
I finally pulled over and to my amazment the whole interstate stopped. It was hailing so hard and fast you could not see. I have never seen this happen . Even in a blizzard you pull off.
The water started running down so fast on the side of the rode, I was not sure if there were any streams close by. I could not do anything but sit and wait. I finally tried to drive and the road was so full of hail that it was difficult, then it started again. I pulled overe.
Obviously I made it just fine I am here and writing about it. We are having an extremely strong spring this year. Tornado warnings hail storms. I hope summer will be better

This market has been crazy for me in the last two months! I have had so many buyers call, seem so excited and then they back down.
Some should not buy a home at this time. I probably would tell them that although the final decision is always theres. They can quailify but just by the seat of their pants.
They are afraid of commitment. They are afraid of the economy. What if they buy a home and the prices go down again? They probably will for a while, but they will come back up again.
Do young people have a hard time with commitment in all they do? I don’t remember being so uncommited. I would make a plan and go for it.
There are so many good deals out there, the $8000. dollars to help first time home buyers, the prices of homes and the fact that you have to live somwhere should be convincing enough. The interests will go up so if you are thinking quit! It is a good time to buy your home.
Give me a call 970-556-3511
